CENTERBROOK >> Community Music School, 90 Main St., welcomes the general public to visit during Open House Week Feb. 4 through 8.
Children and adults can tour the school?s studios, meet teachers and staff, enjoy a free preview lesson and learn about a vast array of programs including private and group lessons, musical theater, the Kindermusik early childhood program, a new summer performing arts camp and music therapy services.
Community Music School is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays. Those interested in a 15-minute preview lesson should call (860) 767-0026 for scheduling.
Community Music School offers innovative music programming for infants through adults, building on a 30-year tradition of providing quality music instruction to residents of shoreline communities. CMS programs cultivate musical ability and creativity and provide students with a thorough understanding of music so that they can enjoy playing and listening for their entire lives.
